Oh yes! The personal responses aspect of LJ gets quite addictive. I find myself with no spare time, frantically writing for the next Black Pearl Sails drabble challenge--Must Get Something Posted So I Can Get Feedback! *Snort* Then I hover over my e-mail.

Unfortunately I haven't seen this film yet! It's on my Netflix queue so I will soon. However, I know what the characters look like from pictures and such so I'd say you can at least tell what this is from. I love the look on Brom's face!!

They do have a resemblance. I picked this picture because I liked the various expressions on the characters' faces and I've been trying to draw groups of people in backgrounds. Brom does look like a dog with a juicy bone in this picture. Thanks for the comment.

I can't help but wonder just what they are all looking at. Brom's focuse is clearly keeping Katrina away from Ichabod, but the rest of them? That smirk on Ichabod's face just seems out of character to me.

But on the whole it is a lovely picture. It always amazes me the attention you pay to the details. I wish I could draw hair that well.

This is the scene just after Katrina has kissed Ichabod and Brom has taken offense at not being told Ichabod's name. Baron Van Tassel has just entered the room and broken up the incipient squabble. The screen cap this is from does have a little wry twist to the corner of Ichabod's mouth, although I may have exaggerated it a bit here. I do love playing with expressions.
