(Sort of OT, sort of not, about drawings. Remember last year when I posted about the "Film Fantasy" magazine that came out around the release of DMC, that listed fanfic? This year, another has been released for AWE, and the fanfic page is here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v302/venusinchains/FilmFantasy3.jpg). Looks a little familiar to me. *G*

I was wondering if they were going to get that published before AWE. I was contacted by Bauer Publishing and paid real money to let them put those pictures in their magazine. Woot!

REAL lucre - wow! What must THAT be like? (You visual artists have all the luck - nobody will ever pay for a fanfic like that, LOL.)

You know, I wonder about that. Paramount certainly paid money for fanfic for Star Trek--there are hundreds of novels. And Disney is putting out kids books with new stories and original characters. If I were Disney, I'd take a good look at what happened with Star Trek fanfic.
