I'm delighted you like her. I've been wanting to draw Anamaria for awhile and have been collecting pictures of Zoe since the screencaps of any quality and detail are so few and far between. I've got a picture of her and Jack planned eventually. You're welcome to use this picture for an icon.

I wanted to draw Anamaria in a peaceful, happy moment. I'm glad you enjoyed her here. Since I had to make up Zoe's hair to match her movie hair, I'm particularly happy to know you like it. At least with her fate being a mystery, we fanfic writers are free to go wild with it. :D

We don't see much happy!Anamaria so this is a real treat. :) And this is true, what you said. I guess I'd rather nothing be said about her fate than find out she was for sure killed off at one point.

Thank you so much. I don't know what the official story on Anamaria is, but I imagine Gillette's fate is tied up in that of the Dauntless. Perhaps we'll find out more in the next movie.

Thank you for commenting. This took less than four hours and I basically scribbled the hair. A long, detailed work takes over eight hours and every hair is carefully placed. Often it will include a background, too. Detailed art = "Scruffington", "Jack Sparrow Confesses" or "Market Upset"

Haha, I see. Okay. For me, a "quick sketch" is something that takes an hour or less, but I'm very impatient and ADD when it comes to drawings. I'm like 'oh, this is good, move on.' Good job ^_^.

I actually can't remember how long this took me. I drew it in intervals while I was holding down a space for a concert in the park and one meeting and a phone conversation. It may have been as little as 2 hours total. Faces come very fast for me. Hair takes longer, but as I said, I scribbled this hair. Clothing also takes time.

I'm so glad you like her hair here, since I basically had to make it up to match Zoe's movie character. I've just been getting happy with the hair I draw in the last couple of years and I've been drawing for 39 years. So don't give up. Thank you for commenting.

Aww, that's gorgeous! I miss Ana too :( I absolutely fell in love with her in CotBP and I was so sad when I found out she wasn't coming back. It's really great to see that so many people still like her.

Thank you so much. There's some twisted gender-thing about the movies where there's an import limit of only two strong women per adventure movie at the most. Any number of men, but not women. *rolls eyes* Oh well. I shall continue to write her in my stories and draw her. :D
