Very nice. Reminds me of a production I saw of Much Ado at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, actually.

I don't know that play but this art is beautiful! I love the background, that vague shape of a lamp, and the flowers are just stunning! They must've taken hours to draw! And Beatrice - I love her hair (I always love it how you make people's hair) and her openmouthed expression:)
It's a lovely work and I'm looking forward to more!:)

It's a wonderful play and has been made into an excellent movie starring Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branaugh. The flowers and vines did take a bit of forever! Thank you so much for your kind words. This actress was a beautiful woman and was such fun to draw. She's quite incredulous at what she's overhearing because she and Benedict have been best of enemies up until this point in the play!

Thank you. I'd be hard pressed to choose my favourite Shakespeare play. But I do love this one and Branaugh's movie is wonderful.

I had to come see your other art after seeing some wonderful pieces in the Pirates comm... You are truly a splendid artist, and you drew one of my favourite characters from a play ever. Thank you :)

I am strolling through my journal archives making sure I respond to everyone who was kind enough to comment. I know in the last couple of years, my life has been so crazy that I’ve missed a lot. My apologies.

I'm so glad you're enjoying the art. I love this play, too. Thank you for your kind words.
