Pretty! You're so good at landscapes, once again I'm in love with the grass and the trees and bushes. And the mountains, of course :-)

Thank you. I started forcing myself to learn to do landscapes because I was always drawing floating people and animals. They are still a bit of a chore for me that I do because I like the finished product, so it is nice to know you enjoy them.

I love how the buildings are all nestled in the foothills, and the big, sturdy Hanoverian-type horses. Very cozy setting with great detail. *applauds*

Thank you for commenting. This was my impression of the German Alps--those massive mountains looming over snug little towns. And I've always had a weakness for big horses. I'm glad you enjoyed this.

Breath-taking. Very beautiful. The only criticism I have- and do forgive me for voicing it if it's not welcome- is the left hand horse's legs. It seems to be walking almost like one might have a Tennessee Walker or a stepping horse of some type. But other than that one small detail (and it's still totally beautiful with it, mind), every thing is grand. You have great skill :) thank you for sharing.

Thank you for your comments. I don't mind critical comments. Since I don't use photo references for the horses, who knows what they are? :D I did have a friend who raised and showed Tennessee Walkers, so maybe I was influenced by the showy look of them. I tend to dodge historical accuracy in favour of whatever amuses me. Someday I should do with horses what I'm now doing with people--spend a few months concentrating on portraiture. I appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you liked this.

*bounce* Thank you. Yes, I'm from Alberta. Are you then? I'm a bit south of Edmo--near Red Deer.

I know the senior class, of which I am the sponsor, is going up there to the waterpark at WestEd sometime, but I can't remember when.
