Summary: More Art! I made a heroic attempt to do a cartoon version of Estelwolfe, but for some reason wolves refuse to be cartoons for me and what came out instead was this rather glorious specimen. I haven't drawn furry things in years!

*bounce* It's been fifteen years since I last drew a portrait of a furry critter like this, so I'm glad it turned out. I may have to try that Jaguar! BTW, have you decided what you'd like drawn? Want me do an illustration for one of your stories?

Yes -- do you have any ideas?

Well, I could do a nice romantical one of Lettie and Jack :D Especially if you have a photo idea of what she looks like. Since that's the one I've been reading, that's the one that comes to mind, but I could do something from your Jack/Elizabeth stories or the Harry stories. I did somehow think you might like something romantic. I wonder how that happened? You could even pick the rating *grin*.

Oh my. *mind boggles at possibilities* I'll have to think about it. Yes, I do like romance. Gosh you must be a mind reader. *G* I'll have to look for a suitable photo likeness of either Lettie or Harry. I'd really like one of them drawn with Jack.

Yes, that's Bonnie, our senior cat. Your wolf brings to mind a wolf/dog in a book I read and makes me want to nuzzle into her neck.

*waves* Hi Bonnie! I do love cats.

Yes, this beastie is definitely a furry, cuddlable looking wolf. I've seen lots of far scrawnier ones, but this one was having a good life, I think.

Beautiful! I love furry things and this one is so pretty! It reminds me somewhat my dog (well, minus the ears - he has drop ones) whose name by the way is Pirat (Polish for "pirate") :)

Thank you so much, Bogumil. I love furry things, too. They just demand to be petted. I think I'd be more interested in the idea of having kids if they came with fur! If this reminds you of your dog, Pirat must be a lovely animal. What a fun name for a dog. This was such a beautiful wolf that I couldn't resist drawing her/him.

Found you via jackfan2. Might I add you since you write and draw and you're a fellow POTC fan? If not, that's okay, too.

(Your drawing is incredibly lovely, btw.)

Of course you may add me. The more the merrier. Any friend of [livejournal.com profile] jackfan2's is a friend of mine :D I'm glad you like the drawing. It's always good to meet people who are interested in the same things I am.

Cool!

Thanks!

*bounces off to add you*

Do you draw professionally? If not, you should--your work is certainly qualifies as professional looking!

Welcome! I've drawn very few things for which I've been paid. I did teach junior high art for a few years, and I've done the odd portrait here or there. I've got a publisher looking at my work for a set of juvenile pony stories, so I'm crossing my fingers, but mostly I just draw in meetings--whenever I have to sit still. So that means 2-3 hours a week.

Thanks!

That is fantastic you are doing something with your drawing!

How much do you charge, if I might ask? I don't want to put you on the spot, so if you'd prefer to take this to private mail, I have this username at yahoo.com. I was wondering because I have reams of original fic I've written and no covers for to do ebooks with (eventually). *g*

I usually charge $40 USD for an 8x10 inch pencil drawing of a single figure in a limited background. Otherwise, for added detail, I try for about $20/hour. Right now I am a bit strapped for time, so I probably couldn't do much work until September, but I'm flattered that you're interested.
